I was born and raised in Beijing, China. As a kid, I cried a lot. I was also really good at math.
Growing up, I always had mysterious stomach aches and digestive issues. The doctors couldn't diagnose it, so I just put up with the symptoms. When I was fourteen, a profound sadness awoke inside me and crushed me. For the following seven year, I spiraled down a path of deep dark depression and increasing chronic physical symptoms.
All these experience drove me onto a decade-long journey to seek health, inner peace, and true healing. I took an interest in nutrition and natural medicine while going to college near Chicago, and subsequently studied naturopathic medicine at Bastyr University. My time in school is as much about building a broad knowledge base of ancient and modern therapeutics, as it is an intense period of deep inner reflection, healing from the past, reconciliation with generational traumas, and spiritual quests.
As I unraveled layers of repressed grief, a delicate sensitivity and intuitive ability emerged. Through years of diligent studying and exploration, my identity as a vitalistic healer flourished as I fine-tuned my intuition and aligned my soul with the universe to guide my work in naturopathic medicine. It is my utmost honor to be on this path, to facilitate restoration of optimal health in the ill, to heal our communities and our planet, and to share the divine love and compassion for all.
